The Timbers now have 2 wins and 1 tie with no losses at home. They won the match after Andrew Gregor & Leonard Griffin found the back of the net. Leonard Griffin's goal was an absolute cracker of a goal from around 30 yards out. Gregor's goal was his 4th on the season. The night saw over 50 fouls commited and 7 cards being showed. But the most severe hit of the night came on a Gregor free kick. The free kick hit Chris Aloisi directly in the face. He immediately went down and was down for several minutes. When he did try to get on his feet he ended up collapsing right back down. He did end up walking off of the field but later had to be taking to the hospital for tests.
The shutout for Josh Wicks was his first on the season.
Rochester had a great opportunity for a goal early on but forward Hamed Diallo tried to side volley the ball when he could of easily headed the ball in. The Raging Rhinos has 17 cards in total in 6 matches so far this season. Midfielder Tenywa Bonseu has already seen 4 yellow cards and 1 red card.
