U.S. SOCCER ANNOUNCES MLS PAIRINGS FOR THIRD ROUND OF U.S. OPEN CUP
The winner of the second-round U.S. Open Cup match between the Timbers and Seattle Sounders on June 26 will advance to play Major League Soccer's Chivas USA in the third round, it was announced by U.S. Soccer. Scheduled for July 10, either USL First Division team will host the third-round match.
The Timbers face the Sounders in U.S. Open Cup action on June 26 at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, Wash. at 7 p.m. Listen live on portlandtimbers.com as broadcaster Andy McNamara calls the action.
